1. Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the standards expected of anyone using Groblers ISP connectivity, hosting, email, or DNS services ("the Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these terms.

You may not use the Services to:

Groblers ISP reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found in breach of this policy, with or without notice, where the breach poses a risk to network integrity, other customers, or third parties. Where practical, we will attempt to notify the account holder and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue first.

2. Service Level & Uptime Commitment

We target the following availability and response levels for core infrastructure. These are operational targets, not a guaranteed warranty, but we take them seriously and monitor against them continuously.

ServiceTarget
Network & mail infrastructure uptime99.9% monthly
Standard support responseWithin 4 business hours
Critical outage responseWithin 1 hour, 24/7
Scheduled maintenance noticeAt least 48 hours in advance, where possible

Planned maintenance is scheduled outside business hours wherever possible and communicated in advance via email to registered contacts.

3. Fair Usage Policy

Our hosting and mail services are provisioned for genuine business use. We don't impose hard bandwidth caps on standard accounts, but usage that materially degrades service for other customers — sustained abnormal traffic, mass storage of unrelated data, or automated high-frequency querying — may be flagged for review. In these cases we'll reach out directly before taking any action; the goal is a quick conversation, not a surprise suspension.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect only the information necessary to provision and support your account: contact details, billing information, and technical data (such as IP addresses and mail logs) required for service delivery, security, and troubleshooting.

We do not sell or share customer data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed where required by law, or to our infrastructure providers strictly for the purpose of delivering the Services.

Mail content is not inspected except where required for spam/virus filtering (automated) or where explicitly requested by the account holder for support purposes. Backups are retained for a limited period to support disaster recovery and are deleted on a rolling schedule.

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, or request its deletion (subject to legal and billing record-keeping requirements), by contacting us at the address below.

5. Complaints Procedure

If something's gone wrong, tell us directly first — most issues are resolved faster through a support ticket than any formal process. If you remain unsatisfied after a ticket has been reviewed by our team, you may request escalation to the account owner directly by referencing your original ticket number.
